Best friends

I will never forget the days when I was in high school. During that three years, I made a lot of friends, and among those friends, there are five people which are very important to me. They are my roommates.

Our school is a little bit odd. The first year we studied in the old compus. It is in the downtown and after class we would go back to our own home. For the next two years, we have to study in the new compus. It is located in the countryside, therefore, we have to live in the dorm.

My roommates are all very funny. Everyone is very interesting. Also, almost all my roommates and I had a positon in our class. We have the class moniter, vice class monitor, two English moniter and a PE monitor. You can see that our group are so strong. Everyday we were waked up by alarms we set between 6:00 to 6:30am. There was a question we have never solved that for the first few months we could wake up. However, little by little, we had get used to alarms and we almost ignored them. The result was we alway went to school a few minutes before the class started. Our teacher also didn't know how to punish us because we were not late. He always talked with us and try to persuade us to get up earlier, but actually, we couldn't.

The neighbors of us are also my classmates. At that time evcery room grab foods or drinks from other rooms. However, they never came in to my room, because one of my roommates was so strong and they dare not grab things from us. As a result, we were the only room that can grab things froms other rooms without any concerns of them grabing back.

There were so many interesting moments such as one of my roommates always sing songs in the room, we always play jokes on other roommates, and we decided what we would perform for he New Years party. That was so many that I cannot say every of them. I just feel very lucky to have such intereting roommates. Every of them are wating me come back to China and get together. I think I will never forget them and the days we spent.

My hobby

When I am free, I spend much time playing video games. Sometimes I play online game such as World of Warcraft; sometimes I play lan games with my roommates and friends. It really makes me happy and it can release my stress. Although some people say that video games are bad for children. They have negative effects on children, such as violence and crimes, I think they are not all negative. As long as you'er not addicted to games and you don't seriously care about it, you won't be affected by games. Also, they may increase your intellegence and make you happy.

When I'm playing games, I always listen to some music. It is really wonderful to combine these two things together. Sometimes the rhythm of the music is the same as the rhythm of the game. It makes me feel passionate and comfortable. Also, I learn music when I have nothing to do. At this time, I usually listen some light music or some music that is not too fast or passionate. I think it is a good way to help me think about something, or just release my stress. Music sometimes can also express my feelings. When I'm sad, I always want to listen to some songs that are more or less depressed. When I'm happy, I usually listen to some fast-speed songs. They just show what I want to express at that moment.

My career

In the future, I want to learn biology or computer science. I'm interested in these two subjects. Why I want to learn biology is because my mom. Her work is something about biology. When I was very young, she always take me to her lab and taught me how to watch germs with microscope. I felt very amazing at that moment. From then on, I started interestes in this subject. My mother tells me that if I really desire to learn biology, I need to be more patient. I have to have the patience to stay in lab for a long time.

For the reason of learning computer science, it is just because myself. I'm interested in computer at the first sight. I owned my first computer when I was 6. At that time in China, computer is a quite advanced staff. Years went by, I changed my old computer to a new one. Also, I have a new laptop. I can do many things with it such as listening to the music and playing video games. Maybe many years later I will be a master of computer science.

The embarassing experience

I think the most embrarassing experience since I'm in the USA is being pulled into Victoria's Secret. When my mentor pulled me into the shop, she asked me whether I would buy some for my girlfriend. At that moment my girlfriend was just by my side. We both feel a little embarassed. She also asked me whether I want to see my girlfriend to wear these underwears. Actually I didn't know how to answer these questions because I'm a litte shy about this kind of question. Maybe it is caused by different culture. My mentor also said that she want to show her body to her boyfriend. Although China now is an open country, it is still not open enough for some people like me to talk about this. Maybe I should do just as my mentor said 'this is America; you should be open.'
